£1 a week to help a kitt in a cabin?
BARGAIN!
For £4 a month you can help provide homeless cats and kittens with practical support by sponsoring a cat cabin – a purpose-built pen in the home of one of our fosterers. To view a video clip of a cat cabin, please click here
Last year we helped hundreds of cats and kittens but we can only sustain this with the help of the general and generous public. This is why we need cat lovers and friends of the branch as sponsors. Every year a single cat cabin gives dozens of cats and kittens a warm, clean and spacious temporary home - with heating in winter, cosy beds, toys, regular meals, medical care and a fosterer – who of course gives his or her time for free.!
As a sponsor you will receive a Certificate of Sponsorship; a regular copy of the Felix Files Newsletter – (by e-mail or post), and a Christmas card from a rescued cat cared for in a sponsored branch cabin. Please use our Contact Us page to request a sign-up form.!
There are lots of other ways you can help us, read on!
Make a food donation Thanks to the support of several local supermarkets, you can donate food to the cats and kittens in our care. Collection bins can be found at Sainsburys Mere Green, Tesco, New Oscott, Sainsburys Castle Vale and the Veterinary Clinic, Chester Road. Kind supporters buy extra food and pop it in the collections bins – a good way of recycling the flavours your own cat turns his whiskers up at! With more than 200 cats and kittens a year coming into our care, feeding can be an expensive business, so your help is invaluable and much appreciated. Miooow!
Become a branch member Members are sent a regular newsletter 'The FelixFiles' with details of our activities, cats in our care and other information on the Branch. Subscription money from local members helps to provide regular funds to buy equipment and pay vet bills. Annual membership costs £9 Adult, £6 Senior Citizen and £15 for a family. Please use our Contact Us page to request a membership form.
Or volunteer... Spare time on your hands? We are keen to recruit passionate, positive people with commitment and drive – maybe you could help us maintain and develop the Branch. For more information on how and where you could make a difference, please view our News page.
